- The service. NotInMyCloud.com Password Manager by AiUpLyft is a service of AiUpLyft LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We set up and run a private team password vault for you, using unmodified Passbolt Community Edition software, at your own web address under notinmycloud.com. Passbolt apps and browser extensions are third-party software under their publishers' own terms. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Passbolt S.A.
- Price and renewal. You pay $2 per user per month for the number of users you choose at checkout, at least 5 users ($10 per month minimum), plus any applicable tax, billed monthly by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically every month and charges your payment method until you cancel. To change your number of users, email pwm@notinmycloud.com; we will confirm the new monthly amount with you before it applies. We will email you before any price change, in time for you to cancel before it applies.
- Setup. After you buy, we email you from pwm@notinmycloud.com to set up your vault. Our target is to set it up within 2 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, except US federal holidays.
- Cancel anytime. Email pwm@notinmycloud.com from the email you used at checkout (or tell us that email) and ask to cancel. No phone call or reason is needed. We then cancel your Stripe subscription, which stops your next charge. Your cancellation counts from the time we receive your email; if a charge is made after that, we refund it in full. Your vault stays on until the end of the month you already paid for. The DNS filtering cancel page does not cancel this service.
- Refunds. Monthly charges are not refunded, including for part of a month, except where the law requires it or if we fail to set up your vault. If we fail to set up your vault, we refund your charges for it in full. The DNS filtering 14-day money-back guarantee does not apply to this service.
- Your passwords and data. Each user is responsible for their own passphrase and recovery kit, and we may not be able to restore access if they are lost. Keep your own export of anything you cannot afford to lose. Within 30 days after your service ends we delete your vault and its data, and backup copies age out within 90 days.
- Everything else. Sections 2 to 14 of our Terms of Service (the /terms/ page) apply to this service as if it were "the service", and references there to AiUpLyft Private DNS Filtering mean this service. On price, renewal, cancellation and refunds, these Password Manager terms control and replace the Refunds, Renewal & Cancellation terms.

How do I access my dashboard?

Is there a mobile dashboard app?
Yes. Android users can use the AdGuard Home Manager app by JGeek00, available on the Google Play Store. This open-source app (source code at gitlab.com/jgeek00/adguard-home-manager) is an unofficial tool for managing AdGuard Home servers - not developed by AdGuard, but well regarded in the community. All other devices can access the dashboard via a web browser using your personal SSL-encrypted URL.
How does the blocking work?
Filtering happens at the DNS level. It uses regularly updated blocklists - curated lists of unwanted domains - including specialized lists for adult content and malware. If a domain is on the blocklists we use, including our upstream DNS provider's threat filtering, the lookup is blocked before your device connects, while safe traffic passes through seamlessly. Adult-site blocking: yes, with parental controls.
Does it block adult sites?
Yes, with parental controls (on for home setups). Our standard setup also blocks ads, trackers, and known malware and phishing domains on the blocklists we use.
Does NotInMyCloud.com Private DNS Filtering block YouTube or other streaming ads?
No. NotInMyCloud.com Private DNS Filtering does not block YouTube ads, or ads on other streaming services.
Do I need extra hardware?
You will need a router that lets you manually enter our private DNS server addresses and supports Dynamic DNS. Do not worry - this is a simple settings change, easier than it sounds. Some routers, such as those provided by cable internet providers, may not allow you to modify DNS settings. If that is the case, you can replace it with your own router, and we can recommend fully compatible models to ensure a smooth setup.
What about my privacy?
Query logging and statistics are settings on your own instance, and you can turn them on or off at any time, giving you full control. We do not sell your activity, and we do not share it for advertising. To answer your devices' lookups, your instance forwards them to an upstream DNS provider (AdGuard DNS, or one you choose), as our Privacy Notice explains. With AdGuard Home, you can also select your preferred DNS servers for added privacy and flexibility.
